Eleonore Pameijer and pianist Marcel Worms will start the new season with a concert at Amsterdam’s newest museum: the Hermitage. Date: August 30, during the Uitmarkt, admission is free!

•Arnhem Musis Sacrum
‘The Ways of Love are not always as easy and pleasant as they seem’, sings soprano Irene Maessen at the CD ‘Les Chemins de l’Amour’ (FutureClassics 083), Eleonore Pameijer and pianist Rudolf Jansen join her on October 5 in enchanting pieces by Ravel, Debussy and Poulenc

•Amsterdam Concertgebouw
Through the eyes of Vincent Van Gogh: Eleonore Pameijer-flute, Irene Maessen-soprano, Rudolf Jansen-piano and Peter Blok-actor will recall the atmosphere of Paris around 1900. Compositions by Ravel, Debussy, Caplet, Roussel and Satie

•Belgrade and Amsterdam
In December Eleonore will perform as a soloist with the Ljubica Maric Chamber Orchestra in Belgrade and Amsterdam, conducted by Isidora Zebeljan

•Recording Gabriel Fauré
On September 24, Eleonore Pameijer and Erika Waardenburg will record works for flute and harp by Gabriel Fauré for the FutureClassics label

•Between Danube and Volga
Eleonore and pianist Marianne Boer recorded a CD with fascinating repertoire from Eastern Europe. Eleonore and Marianne will make a concert tour promoting this CD

•Eleonore & Dario Macaluso
In October Eleonore and Dario will be giving three concerts in the Netherlands, presenting the virtuoso 19th century repertoire from the CD ‘From Italy’ (FutureClassics 081).

•Pablo Escande’s Flute Concerto ‘Il Argentino’
Eleonore has been invited as a solist to perform Pablo Escande’s delightful Flute Concerto ‘Il Argentino’ at the 25th Anniversary Concerts of String Orchestra Zoroaster. Concerts will take place in Amsterdam and Utrecht.

•Eleonore is founder and artistic director of the Leo Smit Foundation. Monthly concerts take place at the Uilenburger Synagogue in Amsterdam from October till June. The series promote unknown repertoire, composers persecuted by the nazi’s during WWII and contemporary.

•Newest CD release
The Chambe rmusic by Dick Katenburg can be purchased at www.futureclassics.nl. Don’t miss his composition ‘Tapdance’ and other samples of this glorious music by one of the most talented composers in the Netherlands. Kattenburg was murdered in a concentration camp at age 24. The CD includes the Flute Sonate, Piece for Flute and Piano and Quartet for flute, violin, cello and piano

•Eleonore has been appointed chairperson of the jury of the Jur Naessens Music Prize. The prize (10.000 euro’s) willl be given to the most interesting musical project presented by musicians (classical/jazz/pop) under 35 years old.The finals will be held on December 16 at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam

•Mythologies
A new album with Dutch Flute Concertos, "Mythologies", will be released in the spring of 2010, on the FutureClassics label. All of these Concertos have been especially composed for Eleonore by Vanessa Lann, Joost Kleppe, Peter van Onna and Peter Schat.
